Book Lovers Valencia normally hosts this monthly writers’ open mic night, but while our new shop prepares to open, we’re taking the mic on the road.

Book Lovers Valencia is temporarily closed while the new shop is being built in Ciutat Vella. We have encountered some unexpected delays, but we plan to reopen soon!

Book Lovers Valencia is an independent English-language bookstore run by a mother-daughter duo in Valencia, Spain.
Not only do we offer a great selection of carefully curated books (both new and pre-loved), we also host literary events and reading meetups.
We are committed to fostering a community centred around a love for the written word.
Since May 2025, Kim and Oriana have worked to continue BLV’s legacy and are actively evolving it. It was originally established in 2022 by a husband-and-wife team.
